Dovetail Studios and Same Planet Performance Project is hosting the first ever MIXXED Dance Festival for companies/artists who are emerging. Artists must have at least four years of professional experience outside of undergraduate programs and all genres are welcome.

October 16 & 17, 23 & 24, 2026 at The Garage at Dovetail Studios

The third annual 3320 Dance Series will take place on October 16 & 17 and 23 & 24 at 7PM at Dovetail Studios 2853 W. Montrose Avenue, Chicago. Produced by Joanna Read and Same Planet Performance Project and Michelle Kranicke and Zephyr Dance, 3320 will feature original work and performances by a cross section of some of Chicago's most prolific dancemakers including, Same Planet Performance Project, Zephyr Dance, Ishti Collective, Joseph Ravens, Jyl Fehrenkamp and Matthew Hollis, Colleen Halloran, Soren Niewelt and Maggie Vannucci. The 2026 Festival also marks the return of Bob Eisen. 3320 is designed to showcase the choreographic depth and varied aesthetics of Chicago’s dance community highlighting experienced choreographers within the intimate setting of Dovetail Studio’s Garage Space.
